Dad's War Photos

Curtis Bertrand was just a country boy in the U.S. Army in World War II. While in the South Pacific Theater he took 600 pictures to allow his folks back home on the farm to be eyewitnesses of what he was experiencing. He had no intention of being a photojournalist, but this pictorial provides a unique view of life and death during WWII. He never dreamed his private stash of pictures would be viewed over 70 years later.
