The facinating journey of a high school dropout who entered the Marine Corps on his 17th birthday, served a four-year stint as an enlisted Marine, then got out of the Corps and became a cop, but remained in the reserves. Bushey ultimately received a direct commission, remained active in the reserves, was called to active duty on several occasions, commanded a unit that bloodied Saddam's noses during the First Gulf War, and ultimately retired as a full colonel.
